BOKO HARAM: Abubakar Shekau Escapes Again?

Shekau Escapes As Faulty Ammunition Stalls Military Operation in Sambisa …Boko Haram Regroup on Gwoza Mountains
Faulty military Ammunition and a dysfunctional fighter Jet stalled Military Operation in Sambisa game reserve, a notorious headquarters of the Boko Haram sect, Pointblanknews.com has gathered.
The Special Forces deployed to Borno State by the Army allegedly failed to test run its air fighters and it ammunition, a security source said.
A senior security source who is angry over the lackadaisical attitude of the Maintenance Department of the Army saddled with the responsibility to ensure routine maintenance of war machinery made the revelation to Pointblanknews.com.
According to the source, the infantry who had already made advances towards the Sambisa camp were forced to retreat when the fighter Jet failed to carry out air strikes.
Consequently the Boko Haram sect took advantage of the Fighter Jet failure and faulty ammunition to launch anti air fire, which also forced the Special Forces air fighters to retreat. Members of the Special Forces also abandoned five Military Operational Vehicles.
Pointblanknews.com gathered that the military top hierarchy had made frantic efforts to cover up their set back until it was revealed by the top security official.
“As we speak, some reinforced forces are on their way to Sambisa as well as parts of Gwoza hill to combat the boko haram terrorist”
More worrisome to the security officer was the failure of the forces to capture the most wanted leader of dreaded Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau who was said to have escaped with military uniform and vehicles and currently hidden in a secluded area around the Gwoza hill.  Although some security officials says Shekau may have escaped to a secluded area around Taraba state.
Pointblanknews.com gathered that the security forces have moved to surround the suspected abode of the sect leader in Taraba state while other Boko Haram militants are said to be heavily armed and had vowed to resist military invasion into the Sambisa camp.
” This was the main reason why the Special Forces failed to convey local and foreign journalists to the Sambisa camp instead they (journalists) were taken to lesser camps in Kirenoa, Marte local government area of Borno State,” the source said.
Meanwhile, the JTF have today ordered the ban of thuraya satellite phones and accessories in Maiduguri.
Spokesman of the Joint Task Force (JTF) Sagir Musa said in a statement sent to reporters in Maiduguri that” anyone found with thuraya or its accessories will be arrested”
” The attention of the Joint Task Force (JTF) has been drawn to the use of Thuraya phones by Boko Haram Terrorists to coordinate their recent assassination of civilians especially school children and some Imams.
” Therefore, effective from 19 June 19 June 2013 , the JTF impose a ban on the use and sale of Thuraya phones and accessories including Thuraya recharge cards in Borno State.
” Anyone seen with thuraya phones, recharge cards and accessories will be arrested”.
