NGF ELECTION: Jonathan Now After Pro-Amaechi Governors?

Emerging facts indicates that President Goodluck Jonathan is out to crush any opposition to his candidate for Governors Forum Chairman, even though his candidate was actually defeated in a free election by Governor Rotimi Amaechi. He wants to remain President in 2015 and must crush all opposition.
It was gathered that names of some Northern governors have been penciled down for sanction, witch-hunting and possible suspension from the PDP over their support for Amaechi.
The offence of the "marked" Northern governors is their refusal to recognize Governor Jonah Jang who lost an election as Chairman as the PDP is currently doing. The governors, including Babangida Aliyu, are also openly against President Jonathan's second term ambition.
Others governors that Jonathan wants to crush in his bid to maintain his stronghold on the PDP are those of Jigawa, Kano, Sokoto and Kebbi States.
A source told Thisday that, “There are efforts to remove Aliyu as chairman of Northern States Governors' Forum if he fails to recognise Governor Jang as the chairman of the forum.”
Governor Babangida Aliyu, it would be recalled was the first to openly oppose President Jonathan when he said Jonathan must step down in 2015 based on a "gentle man agreement."
An Abuja-based revealed that the marked governors are already aware of the powerful plot against them and he considering their options, to either remain in PDP or join the opposition, APC.
