Nigeria’s national team coach, Stephen Keshi will next week be given his official house and car, which would set the NFF back by over 15 million Naira (about $94,000).
According to MTNFootball.com, the NFF are expected to secure a house in Abuja for about 8 million Naira and also hand the ‘big boss’ the key to a Kia Jeep worth 7.2m Naira.
These benefits are part of a four-year contract signed by Keshi in November.
NFF Finance committee chairman Shehu Adamu, stated, “I am in Abuja to finalise on the car and accommodation for the Eagles coach. The NFF president has directed that we resolve the accommodation issue of the coach. So, we are only waiting for the coach to pick his preferred location for his accommodation, while for the car, we would conclude the paper work as soon as possible.”
Keshi’s contract also has a pre-condition attached to it which stipulates that he guides the Super Eagles to at least, a last four place at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
