Flood has destroyed several houses and farmlands
in Kaduna town following a heavy thunderstorm that occurred in Kaduna
State. The downpour began on Tuesday night and lasted till the early
hours of Wednesday.
The most affected areas included Gonin Gora, Ungwan Romi, Narayi, Kamazo, Kabala Costain, and Ungwan Rimi, all in Kaduna North and Chikun local government areas of the state. “Everything we had in our house has been destroyed, said Sani Abubakar, a resident of Ungwan Rimi.
