Nigeria marks her 53rd year of Independence on Tuesday.
President Goodluck Jonathan will make an Independence Day broadcast to the nation at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
This was stated in a Press Statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati.
Tuesday, October 1, 2013, marks Nigeria’s 53rd independence anniversary.
According to the statement, all television and radio stations in the country are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to relay the broadcast to their viewers and listeners.
