The Special Assistant to the Imo state Governor on Public Affairs and Popular Nollywood Actress Miss Nkiru Sylvanus is said to have been kidnapped in Owerri the Imo state capital, South East Nigeria.
Channels Television reports that, “Sources close to the Nollywood actress said she was Kidnapped yesterday night around Concorde hotel in Owerri where she went for an official engagement’’.
The Kidnappers have contacted the Imo State Government demanding for the sum of N100 million for her release but the Imo state Police PRO, Mr Vitalis Olugu, said he is yet to be informed about the kidnap.

UPDATE: Former Mr. Nigeria Was Kidnapped With Nkiru Sylvanus
We all heard that actress Nkiru Sylvanus was kidnapped late Saturday night December 15th, what we didn’t hear until now was that 2010 Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie was with her when she was kidnapped. His friends just contacted me with the info.
Kenneth, Nkiru and another yet to be identified passenger left a movie location in Owerri late Saturday night and were heading to another location when gunmen blocked Nkiru’s car between Concorde Hotel and Cathedral Road in Owerri, and took all three passengers in the car.
Kenneth left Lagos two weeks ago to feature in the movie and was due back home sometime this week. The kidnappers are yet to make contact with Kenneth’s family. Truly sad what is going on in our country.

UPDATE: Nkiru Sylvanus And Kenneth Okolie Released
Kidnapped Nkiru Sylvanus and former Mr Nigeria, Kenneth Okolie have been released hale hearty after being in the custody of kidnappers for days.
The kidnappers tied their eyes and dropped them off at an unknown location where they were able to call friends to come pick them up
